Reflexology
As a practitioner for over twenty years, Sherrill finds reflexology, which can be applied to
the feet, hands and ears, has an amazing ability to create states of deep relaxation. The
Reflexology Association of Canada defines it as "A natural healing art, based on the principle
that there are reflexes in the feet and hands which correspond to every part of the body."
By stimulating and applying pressure to the feet or hands, you can increase circulation and promote
specific bodily and muscular functions. Imagine stepping on a tack. Your whole body reacts because of
something perceived by the foot. Reflexology with a full range of pressure sensors,
utilizes the same body system of fight or flight to relax the body." In the relaxed state, the
body become much more effective in balancing the complex energies of the body, leading to improved
health in many arenas.
Chi Nei Tsang
Chi Nei Tsang is a holistic approach to massage therapy of old Taoist Chinese origin:
it integrates the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of oneself. CNT goes
to the very origin of health problems, including pychosomatic responses. CNT practitioners
are trained in Qicong and work mainly on the abdomen with deep, soft and gentle touches,
to train internal organs to work more efficiently. Unprocessed emotional charges are also addressed in
this manner, as well as all of the body systems: digestive, respiratory, cardio-vascular,
lymphatic, nervous, endocrine, urinary, reproductive, skeleto-muscular and the
acupuncture meridian system (Chi).
Reiki and Quantum Touch

In Quantum Touch, the client entrains their energy with that of the practitioner.
Using special breathing patterns and visualization, the practitioner maintains a high level of vibration
that is used by the client to increase their own energy. A powerful, yet simple, system of healing.
Huna Kane
In an interactive session, Sherrill will instruct you in special breathing to clear the body of tension held
in specific areas, alternating deep pressure and gentle soothing.Physical massage is accompanied with
a verbal dialogue that "maps" the body to eliminate chronic control, limitation of movement and suppression
of normal function.
Originally used in the Hawaiian Islands to cleanse warriors returning to their communities after war,
Huna Kane is an ancient practice for knowing the inner self, with deep healing capacity for the stresses
of modern living. Enhances harmony to create new levels of brain balance and body health.
Three sessions are offered: mapping of the back of the body to clear past trauma, mapping of the front of
the body to assist in forward flow and future health, and a non-verbal session to integrate and align body,
mind and spirit. Known as lomi lomi, the third session is a flowing dance on the body completed with hot
towels and aromatherapy.
