POPLAR PIER HEALTH LAUNCH

Poplar Pier Health Launch is a new enterprise designed to assist you in finding the way to increased vitality in all your activities of daily living. Located at 22 Poplar Avenue in Winnipeg Beach,just above the Poplar Pier that juts into Lake Winnipeg, Health Launch provides a warm, comfortable atmosphere where Sherrill Ruckert offers a wide range of services for individuals interested in creating greater health. Health consultation provides an opportunity to create personal health goals which can be supported through alternative touch therapies such as remedial massage, reflexology and guided visualization. She also offers Hawaiian huna kane and lomi lomi sessions and magnetic field work (Way of the Heart). Touch therapies can also be used independent of consultation processes.

In addition to individual touch therapy sessions, Sherrill continues to offer her services to the community as a tai chi instructor through Evergreen Continuing Education during the fall and winter months.

On a broader level, she organizes workshops on a variety of topics related to creating health for the individual, the couple, the family and the larger community. Previous offerings have included Awareness Through Movement and a basic course in reflexology for personal use. Individuals learned to apply the art of reflexology for their friends and family.
